Bahrain International Circuit opened in 2004 was a motor sports avenue located in Sakhir, Bahrain. The construction of this circuit was started by Bahrain’s crown prince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. This circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke (German Architect). The 2004 Grand Prix was the first motor race to be conducted in this circuit in Middle East. Total cost expensive for the construction of the circuit is $150 million.
