Kalimpong a hill town in the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal is home to colonial era buildings, the most popular is the MacFarlane Memorial Church. Zuluk is a tiny village, located at an altitude of 2900 m on the rugged topography of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim. Zuluk is more famed among the tourists for its stunning serpentine loops. This spot is adjacent to the Indo-Tibetan border. Tourists from all over the world come here explore the beautiful views of the mountains and surrounding landscape. Zuluk loop is offering the stunning views of the Himalayan ranges and also Kanchanjunga which is the highest peak of India.
Start your cycling journey from the Kalimpong and stop at Aritar to watch the immaculate Lampokhari Lake and get ready for the downward ride through the Dalapchand Valley. Take leisure at Rongli situated on the shores of Rongpo River before starting the uphill road to the small villages of Sisney and Lingtam. Plan your night stay at any of these villages. Next day start you journey by visiting the old Buddhist monastery in Phadamachen. Finally you can cycle through the thin alpine forests to attain Zuluk. While visiting the Zuluk loops, you can also some other beautiful places.
